The WRHSRC is headed by Lewis Semprini (OSU), Center Director. Garrett Jones is the administrative assistant.

The Center has three main components:

• The Research Program, headed by Lewis Semprini (OSU), Center Director
• The Quality Assurance Program, headed by Martin Reinhard (Stanford), Assistant Center Director
• The Outreach Program, headed by Kenneth Williamson (OSU), Associate Center Director

The Research Program is guided by a Science Advisory Committee and has four components:

• Studies of Anaerobic Biological Processes, headed by Mark Dolan (OSU)
• Studies of Aerobic Cometabolic Processes, headed by Daniel Arp (OSU)
• Studies of Abiotic Processes, headed by Martin Reinhard (Stanford)
• Site Assessment and Characterization Studies, headed by Jonathon Istok (OSU)

The Outreach Program is guided by an Outreach Advisory Committee and has three components:

• Technical Outreach Services for Communities
• Technical Assistance to Brownfields Communities
• Technology Transfer
