Dr. Semprini became director of the WRHSRC in 2001. He specializes in field, laboratory, and modeling studies of aerobic and anaerobic processes for treating chlorinated solvents. He also performs research using naturally occurring radon-222 as a subsurface tracer.

He is a principal investigator on WRHSRC research projects studying aerobic and anaerobic biological treatment methods.

Dr. Reinhard heads the WRHSRC Quality Assurance program. He specializes in environmental organic chemistry and physical and chemical processes related to the fate of organic chemicals in the environment. He is a principal investigator on WRHSRC projects studying catalytic treatment of chlorinated solvents and slow desorption of chlorinated solvents from aquifer materials.
