Search Tips:

  • Searches on keywords in title:

    • If you enter multiple keywords, the database will return all documents that contain any one of those words. For example:
      • Keywords in title: Oregon California Washington
      • Results:
        • Famous Statesment of Oregon
        • History of California
        • History of the Pacific Northwest: Oregon and Washington
    • To narrow the search to only documents that contain more than one specific keywords, use the plus symbol. For example:
      • Keywords in title: +Oregon +Washington
      • Results:
        • History of the Pacific Northwest: Oregon and Washington
        • The document from the example above with only Oregon and not Washington in its title will now be excluded.
  • Searches on author:
    • At this time, it is only possible to search on one author at a time. It is not possible to narrow a search to return documents with two specific authors. (Search on one of the two authors instead and scan results for the second author.)
