The Western Region Hazardous Substance Research Center developed treatment methods and provided technical assistance for cleanup of hazardous substances. It operated from 1989 through 2007 and was a partnership between Oregon State University and Stanford University. The Center received its base financial support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Although the Center has ceased operations, this Web site has been retained as an archive of Center publications and project information.
